Property Overview

The property starts at an elevation of 2493 feet and rises to 3937 feet on the slopes of Cerro Galera, which rises still higher to 4724 feet at its summit.

Given the height and clarity of the atmosphere, the views are unmatched, with a visibility of 60 miles in all directions.

On the property there are many locations suitable for the construction of lookouts, shelters or mountain huts. Given the amount of winter snow, the slopes and undulating hillsides, it is an ideal place for the construction of long ski slopes.

All of this is connected by a network of roads and paths covering the entire property.

The park hosts a multitude of ecological niches and wildlife, such as native Lenga forests, natural water sources, unique flora, fauna and bird species.

There is an abundance of water inside the park, from melting snow on the mountain top to natural springs that gush water from the depths.

The surrounding forest is kept cool by trees that transpire water from the soil. The main source of potable water on the property is a stream with flows that vary between 17 and 49 liters per second, depending on the season. The Chilean government has granted water rights from this stream to the property owners for consumptive / permanent use.

These rights are duly registered with the National Water Directorate. There are also two small year-round lagoons and several seasonal ones, which are the natural refuge of various migratory birds.
